Singapore Airlines and United Airlines launch interline e-ticketing

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has launched interline e-ticketing with United Airlines.
The move means that passengers whose travel plans involve flights on both carriers can now travel on one electronic ticket for the entire journey. According to SIA, the automated check-in processes and the use of e-tickets will allow passengers to spend less time standing in line at the airport.
