Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France, has announced that it has introduced a golf-cart shuttle service during the summer season to transport passengers between terminals at the airport completely free of charge. The new shuttle service is to run until 25 September 2005.

The carts, which can hold up to five passengers and their carry-on luggage, will give priority to older travellers, the disabled and those travelling with children or excess luggage.

According to The Associated Press, passengers are to be polled to determine whether to extend the dates of the courtesy service, which runs daily from 0800 until 2000 local time.
