Scandinavian airline SAS Group said on Thursday (18 August) that it would be the first network carrier to introduce one-way fares to and from European destinations.
Tickets would be sold as one-way tickets and could be combined without restriction to form return tickets. Rules such as the demand that passengers must stay away over a Saturday or Sunday have been eliminated, the company said.
Sales of the new European tickets would commence on 1 September 2005.
SAS said that its German destinations would be included in this offer as of January 2006.
