easyJet raises forecast for full-year profit

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
UK-based budget airline easyJet has upgraded its pretax profit forecast for the current financial year.
The company's chief executive said that improved revenues and cost cuts mean that its reported pretax profit for the full year will be "broadly in line with last year".
In the year to September 2004 the airline reported a pretax profit of GBP62.2m.
easyJet had previously forecast that its pretax profit would be below last year's.
