AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
The US Air Transport Association (ATA) expects 35m passengers to travel globally on US airlines over the 16-day winter holiday period between 18 December and 2 January.
The numbers reportedly remain unchanged from a year ago. ATA has also said that it expects growth in international air travel, offsetting a modest year-over-year decline in domestic passengers during this period.
The organisation said that travellers should remember to take time to get to the airport and for checking in as millions of infrequent travellers will be flying over the 16-day period.
