Melbourne airport plans expansion

Melbourne Airport in Australia plans to expand its international terminal to accommodate growing passenger numbers.
The terminal expansion, which will add 5,000 square metres of floor space to the terminal, is part of a AUD220m development programme to manage an increase in international passengers and accommodate the new Airbus A380.
Over the past seven years Melbourne's international passenger traffic has increased by 7.2%, which is twice the Australian average, said the airport's chief executive.
