US Airways Group receives authorisation for certain transactions

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
US Airways Group Inc has said in a regulatory filing that it had received authorisation from a US bankruptcy judge for certain transactions between the airline and Airbus North America.
Reuters reported that the transactions included an agreement with US Bank National Association to extend the date for the balance of a 1 December 2004 payment for five Airbus aircraft to 27 January. The agreement was subject to certain conditions.
