Kenya Airways has reported a 15% increase in passenger numbers for its third quarter ended 31 December 2004.
The airline transported a total of 518,844 passengers during the quarter, up from 450,170 in the same quarter of 2003. The passenger cabin factor for the period increased from 72.1% to 75.1%.
Kenya Airways said that the growth could be attributed to increased flights on its routes in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and West and Southern Africa, as well as its acquisition of new, bigger Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, reported Reuters.
