Great Lakes Aviation reports preliminary traffic results for January

Great Lakes Aviation Ltd (OTC Bulletin Board: GLUX) has reported its preliminary passenger traffic results for January.

The airline said that scheduled service generated 9,170,446 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which is a 13.7% decrease year-on-year. Available seat miles (ASMs) reportedly fell 25.6% to 21,546,876 and the load factor increased by 5.9 percentage points to 42.6%. The number of passengers decreased by 10.2% year-on-year to 34,058, the airline said.

Great Lakes operates scheduled passenger service at 31 airports in nine states, using Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional aircraft.
