Iberia reports record load figure for January

Spanish airline Iberia has reported an increase of its passenger load figure to 71.2% in January.

According to the airline, the figure was an increase of 0.2 percentage points year-on-year. Iberia said that the increase was caused by international flights, which offset a six-point decrease in the domestic routes load factor.

The overall load figure was the airline's highest ever for the month of January, The Associated Press reported.
