Bratislava Airport in Slovakia was searched by police on Sunday (20 February) after a damaged fire extinguisher was spotted in the arrival lounge.
A border guard alerted authorities that the portable fire extinguisher was in an unusual location, and the lounge was evacuated. The extinguisher was destroyed as a precaution, but a police spokesman said later that it appeared to have been harmless.
Due to the alert outbound flights were delayed by 30 minutes.
