The national airlines of Malaysia and Singapore signed an expanded code-sharing agreement on Thursday (24 February).

Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS) and Singapore Airlines Ltd (SIA) said they would add more code-share flights between the two Southeast Asian countries, extending their agreement to involve the Singapore carrier's regional unit, Silk Air. MAS and SIA were once a single airline called Malaysia-Singapore Airways until they split in 1971.
