bmibaby announces rise in January passenger revenues

British airline bmi said on Thursday (3 February) that average revenue per passenger at its low-cost carrier bmibaby increased by 5.2% in January 2005 year-on-year.

The carrier would report higher yields, passenger volumes and load factors for the calendar year 2004 when its full-year results are announced in April, said the company's managing director.

bmibaby also revealed that it had taken almost 200,000 bookings for summer 2005, reported Reuters.
