WestJet announces January traffic figures

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet Airlines Ltd announced on Thursday (3 February) its January 2005 passenger traffic figures.
The company said that its passenger load factor was 69.8%, up from 68.4% in January 2004. Revenue passenger miles increased by 31.4% and available seat miles rose by 28.8% compared to the same period 2004.
