Boeing wins aircraft order from new Indian budget carrier

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
US aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co has entered into an agreement with Indian airline Royal Airways Ltd for an order of 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The new aircraft will be used by SpiceJet, Royal Airways' new discount carrier. Under the agreement Royal Airways also has an option to buy 10 more 737-800s.
The firm order has been valued at USD630m.
