Small aircraft crashes in Arkansas

A small aircraft crashed into the Arkansas River on Monday (10 January) as it approached the Little Rock airport.

One person on board was killed and another person was still missing, aviation officials said.

The single-engine Cessna, registered to 70-year-old Herbert Kirby, crashed into the river just short of the runway. Police are still searching for the second person.
