US aircraft maker Boeing Co said on Wednesday (12 January) that Bavaria International Aircraft Leasing had agreed to buy six Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
The leasing company would also take options for a further six.
The aircraft in the firm order are worth USD330m at list prices but since companies usually negotiate discounts the precise value of the contract is not known.
The delivery of the aircraft is to begin this year, Boeing said.
