France-based aircraft maker Airbus reported on Wednesday (12 January) that in 2004 it had delivered 320 aircraft.
Airbus said it had won 53% of global deliveries for 100-seat-plus passenger jets in 2004, for the second year beating the American aircraft maker Boeing.
Airbus said it expected to receive between 300 and 350 orders in 2005, including 50 or 60 for the long-range A350, its answer to Boeing's future 7E7 Dreamliner, which it hopes to announce by the time of the Paris air show in June, reported Reuters.
