Republic Airways Holdings files registration statement for public offering

Republic Airways Holdings (Nasdaq:RJET) has filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed underwritten public offering of 5.0 million shares.

The shares are all being sold by the company and proceeds from the sale are to be used for general corporate purposes, including working capital, potential strategic acquisitions and/or investments and the possible acquisition of additional aircraft and related spare parts and support equipment, Republic Airways Holdings said.
