Hong Kong airport to buy stake in eastern China airport

Hong Kong's airport operator said on Monday (17 January) that it would buy a minority stake in an airport in eastern China.
The Hong Kong company will buy a stake of between 25% and 49% in Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Co Ltd, which operates the facility in Zhejiang province, near Shanghai, said the airport authority.
Hong Kong International Airport handled 37.1 million passengers last year, while Hangzhou Xiaoshan handled 6.4 million, reported Reuters.
