Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad Airways is reportedly set to announce an engine deal including power for four Airbus A380 aircraft.
The agreement is expected to be announced in about two weeks' time, the Etihad chairman said on Tuesday (18 January). The deal, which will also include engines for 12 twin-engined A330-200 Airbus aircraft, could reportedly be worth about USD600m at list prices.
The carrier is also seeking a deal for maintenance of the engines for 10 years, reported Reuters.
