A cargo aircraft operated by Atlas Air, arriving from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, rolled off a landing strip at Germany's Dusseldorf airport today (24 January).
According to airport officials, departures from the airport were delayed by two hours as runways were shut down due to the incident. Two of the cargo aircraft's engines caught fire but were quickly extinguished.
No one was injured when the aircraft landed on the south runway and flights were later shifted to the north runway.
No cause for the incident is so far known, The Associated Press reported.
