ATA names executive to oversee restructuring

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

ATA Holding Corp, the parent company of ATA Airlines Inc, has named a retired Southwest Airlines executive, John G. Denison, to help ATA restructure its debt.

Denison will become the company's co-chief restructuring officer, working with its management to restructure operations and prepare a bankruptcy reorganization plan.

ATA filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in October 2004.
