China Southern Airlines to order 5 A380s - report

China Southern Airlines is to sign an order for five Airbus A380 superjumbo aircraft on Friday (28 January), the Chinese newspaper China Daily has claimed.
According to the newspaper report, a China Southern Airlines executive confirmed the order for five of the 555-seater aircraft, worth a total of USD1.4bn at list prices.
France-based aircraft maker Airbus, which has reportedly been suggesting that it expects a Chinese client to sign up for the A380, declined to comment on the report.
