The Scandinavian airline SAS would not be affected in the short term by a downgrading from rating agency Moody's.

Moody's has reportedly put the airline for evaluation and a possible downgrade of the current B1 long-term credit rating. The airline would not be affected by a downgrade in the short term as it does not have any loans that would be affected, according to Sture Stolen, the head of Investor Relations for the SAS group.

SAS has a limited need for long-term financing over the next couple of years, Stolen also told the news service Ticker.
