Germanwings to launch new routes to UK and Turkey

Germanwings, a German budget airline, is to launch new routes from Cologne to Ankara, Turkey and Birmingham, UK.

The airline has said that it is working to expand its offering of attractive destinations and both Ankara and Birmingham are important destinations. The new route to Birmingham will reportedly be operated six times weekly from 14 April while the Ankara route will run three times a week from 28 June.

Germanwings will also launch a route between Cologne and Oslo, Norway on 27 March. This route will be operated four times weekly, according to boarding.no.
