An international flight operated by Russian airline Aeroflot made an emergency landing in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday (4 January) because a passenger was causing a disturbance.

The flight landed at Warsaw's Okecie airport to remove a Russian woman who was allegedly arguing with in-flight personnel and using her mobile phone.

The aircraft had been flying from Moscow, Russia to Geneva, Switzerland.

Polish officials said that the 25-year-old woman would be returned to Moscow on Wednesday, reported The Associated Press.
