Boeing meets forecast for aircraft deliveries in 2004

Boeing Co has said that its commercial aircraft deliveries for 2004 met company expectations.
Boeing said that it delivered 67 commercial aircraft during the fourth quarter, and the full-year 2004 deliveries reached 285. The 737 Next Generation aircraft represented about 70% of all commercial aircraft it delivered for the year, reaching a total of 48 for the quarter and 202 for the year.
France-based rival aircraft maker Airbus said in December that it expected to deliver 315 to 320 aircraft in 2004, The Associated Press reported.
