Boeing Co has said that its commercial aircraft deliveries for 2004 met company expectations.

Boeing said that it delivered 67 commercial aircraft during the fourth quarter, and the full-year 2004 deliveries reached 285. The 737 Next Generation aircraft represented about 70% of all commercial aircraft it delivered for the year, reaching a total of 48 for the quarter and 202 for the year.

France-based rival aircraft maker Airbus said in December that it expected to deliver 315 to 320 aircraft in 2004, The Associated Press reported.
