Review of Southwest and ATA codeshare completed

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) and ATA Airlines Inc (ATA) have said that the US Department of Transportation (DOT) has concluded its review of the carriers' codeshare agreement.
The conclusion of the review means that the agreement can be put into service. The two airlines have said that they are pleased that the review has been completed and that they are now able to offer their customers more destinations.
The specifics of the codeshare agreement, such as destinations and schedules, are expected to be announced later this month.
