Remote-controlled model aircraft used to scare Chinese birds

Remote-controlled model aircraft that screech like birds and emit bright flashing lights have been developed in China to scare wild birds away from airports.

The model aircraft developed by Chinese scientists are expected to be more effective than previously tried methods, such as cannon fire and blasting sounds, the Xinhua news service reported.
