Air France KLM announces June passenger traffic results

Air France KLM announced on Thursday (7 July) its June passenger traffic figures.

The carrier said its passenger traffic rose 7.8% in June and its load factor for the month was 81.5%, 2.4 percentage points higher than in June 2004.

In the Americas, traffic rose 11.2% on a 12% capacity increase, but the load factor fell 0.7 percentage points to 88.4%. Traffic in Asia increased 6% and the load factor rose 3.3 percentage points to 84.5%. In Europe the passenger traffic increased 5.6% and the load factor rose 2.6 percentage points to 75.2%, the company said. June cargo traffic decreased 1.1% on a 4.3% capacity increase and the cargo load factor fell 3.5 percentage points to 64.7%.
