Hong Kong airport sees traffic increase in May

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Hong Kong International Airport has reported that the passenger traffic through the airport increased by 17.3% in May 2005 year-on-year.
According to the airport authority, strong demand for long-haul travel contributed to the increase and the airport handled a total of 3.3m passengers in May. The air cargo throughput increased by 9.4% in May, Reuters reported.
