Alaska Airlines eliminates flights from summer schedule

Alaska Airlines has removed eight daily roundtrip flights from its summer schedule to improve its on-time performance and schedule reliability.

According to the airline, the flights eliminated from the summer schedule, which ends on 10 September, include one Anchorage-Los Angeles roundtrip, one Anchorage-Phoenix roundtrip, one Seattle-Anchorage roundtrip, one Las Vegas-Seattle roundtrip and one Orlando-Seattle roundtrip. Alaska Airlines also said that its single daily roundtrip service between Miami and Seattle will be temporarily suspended until 30 October.

In addition to the eliminated and suspended flights, the airline has also postponed the launch of a twice-daily direct service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Seattle until 12 September.
