Delta launches service between Louisville and New York

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) launched on Wednesday (15 June) a new non-stop service between Louisville, Kentucky, and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

The new daily flights are operated by Delta Connection carrier Comair with the Bombardier jet aircraft. For the new service, Delta is offering customers an introductory fare of USD89 each way, based on a roundtrip purchase. Tickets must be purchased by 29 June and are valid for travel between 29 June and 31 August.
