ALPA expresses concern over lack of assurances from America West management

The US Air Line Pilots Association has expressed its concern over ignored calls to protect jobs.
The union said that it is concerned over the fact that America West Airlines is ignoring its requests for help to protect jobs in the merger with US Airways. The union said that its leaders raised concerns in a meeting with the airline management but did not get any assurances.
ALPA claimed that the pilots are not getting clear and consistent information from all levels of the management, bizjournals.com reported.
