LAN wins flights to Brazil

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Chile's LAN has been awarded air passenger and cargo flights to and through the Brazilian market.

According to the Chilean Civil Aviation Authority, LAN has won the rights to 27 new flights to Brazil. The authority said that 18 of the flights will go to LAN Airlines and nine to Lan Cargo.

According to Reuters the flights have varying privileges, with some including the right to continue onwards to other destinations in South America or other global destinations.
