The Danish consumer ombudsman has reportedly found that six airlines are failing to quote the fully inclusive price of tickets on their websites.
The airlines, including Ryanair, easyJet and, to some extent, Maersk Air, do not always mention surcharges, airport taxes and sales fees, the ombudsman said.
The consumer ombudsman does not have the power to force the airlines to change their advertising and has urged consumers to be vigilant when looking for cheap air tickets online, reported the Danish broadcaster DR.
