AirTran to launch new services from Indianapolis

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE: AAI), announced on Wednesday (29 June) that the airline will start new services from Indianapolis International Airport.

Beginning on 8 November the carrier will launch daily nonstop services to Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers, Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. AirTran will also commence additional daily nonstop flights from Indianapolis to Atlanta, beginning on 16 August, and to Orlando, beginning on 8 November.

All Indianapolis flights will be operated with Boeing 717 aircraft configured with 12 seats in business class and 105 in coach class.
