Norwegian airline SAS Braathens, part of the SAS Group, is reportedly facing a fine of NOK20m for allegedly abusing its market dominance on a domestic route.
Norway's competition authority (Konkurransetilsynet) reportedly claims that SAS Braathens tried to run rival domestic carrier Coast Air out of business on the Haugesund-Oslo route.
The regulators reportedly also plan to fine SAS Braathens NOK400,000 for violating marketing laws. The alleged violations apparently targeted rival carrier Norwegian Air.
SAS Braathens denies any wrongdoing, and says that it will fight all the charges, reported the online edition of the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten.
