Southwest Airlines raises fares

Southwest Airlines Co has announced an increase on fares of USD1 to USD3 on most routes due to high fuel costs.
The raised fares, which were reportedly implemented on 11 March, had been long planned, according to Southwest spokesperson Linda Rutherford.
The higher fares were implemented in almost all markets, The Associated Press reported.
