Singapore Airlines has said that it could agree to delay introducing the Airbus A380 on the Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, USA route if it got access to the route.
Singapore Airlines will reportedly be one of the first airlines to take delivery of the new aircraft model in 2006. The airline has said that it may be prepared to delay using the aircraft on the route, but that it has not yet made a decision, Reuters reported.
The airline and the government of Singapore are trying to get the Australian government to allow Singapore Airlines to operate the route, currently only served by Qantas and United Airlines.
