Singapore-based budget airline Valuair Ltd is reportedly planning to start new routes to destinations in eastern Australia as early as September.

The carrier declined to provide specific information on new routes, reported The Straits Times newspaper. Currently Valuair flies to Perth in Western Australia, as well as to Hong Kong, Bangkok and Jakarta.

The airline wanted to add two long-range Airbus A330s for new Australian routes, as well as another A320, said the company CEO.
