Southwest Airlines reports February statistics

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Southwest Airlines Co (NYSE: LUV) has reported that the airline flew 4.0bn revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in February 2005.
The figure is reportedly a 9.2% increase year-on-year from 3.7bn RPMs flown in February 2004. The airline also said that the available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 7.3% to 6.3bn year-on-year while the load factor for February was 63.3%.
