GOL exercises four more purchase options for 737-800 Next Generation aircraft

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA (NYSE:GOL; Bovespa:GOLL4), a Brazilian budget airline, has signed a contract with Boeing to exercise four more purchase options for 737-800 Next Generation aircraft.

According to the airline, this increases the number of firm orders to a total of 30 aircraft, to be delivered between 2006 and 2010. GOL said that the airline is to receive six new 737-800 NG aircraft in 2006, 13 in 2007, seven in 2008 and four in 2009.
