El Al upgrades its in-flight services on US routes

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Israeli airline El Al is to offer new in-flight amenities on all routes between the United States and Israel.
The services include new entertainment features, alternative menu options and a partnership with Connexion by Boeing to provide in-flight wireless Internet access.
High-speed Internet access will be installed on all of El Al's Boeing 747-400 and 777 aircraft starting in June 2005. The upgrade is costing some USD3m and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2006. The service will allow passengers in all classes to connect to the Internet, at prices ranging from USD9.95 to USD29.95.
