Man dies on Aerolineas Argentinas flight

A passenger died on an Aerolineas Argentinas flight from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Madrid, Spain on Saturday (26 March).

The 54-year-old man suffered a medical emergency, thought to have been a heart attack, but died despite the efforts of flight attendants and passengers to assist him. The incident occurred about three hours after takeoff and the flight was diverted to Brazil's Recife Airport.

The Boeing 747, which was carrying about 370 passengers, continued its journey to Madrid later in the morning.
