Source says AirAsia has chosen General Electric for A320 engines

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
AirAsia Bhd, a Malaysia-based budget airline, has reportedly chosen General Electric Co as supplier for the engines for 40 Airbus A320 aircraft.
According to a source close to the deal, it is expected to be closed soon, Reuters reported. An official of GE declined to comment on the information and said that it was up to the airline to comment.
