Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica (Embraer), the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, has said that it plans to launch a new programme for developing new types of executive aircraft.
The manufacturer reportedly aims to enter that part of the aviation market, as Embraer is currently only producing one type of executive jet. The aim is to reveal the new models in the next couple of months, Reuters reported.
The current model in production, the Legacy, was introduced three years ago and the company expects to deliver between 15 and 20 aircraft of this type in 2005.
