Delta Air Lines reports February traffic

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has reported its traffic results for February 2005.
The carrier said that its system traffic for February 2005 increased 9.7% compared to February 2004 on a capacity increase of 5.9%. In the same period its system load factor was 71.0%, up 2.4 percentage points from February 2004. The number of passengers for the month was 8,393,658, an increase of 4.7% from February last year.
The carrier's domestic traffic in February 2005 increased 7.1% year-on-year, while capacity increased 3.7%. Domestic load factor in February 2005 was 71.0%, an increase of 2.2 points from February 2004. International traffic in February 2005 increased 20.4% year-on-year on a 15.2% increase in capacity. International load factor was 71.0%, up 3.1 points from February 2004.
