Air France orders Boeing aircraft

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
US aircraft maker Boeing Co said on Tuesday (8 March) that Air France had ordered four 777-300ER passenger jets.
The carrier plans to use the four new aircraft for services to destinations such as La Reunion and the Antilles.
The contract is worth USD920m at catalogue prices but since airlines usually negotiate discounts, the exact value of the contract is unknown.
